Eligibility

The minimum qualification required for M.Ed is a Bachelor degree in Education(B.Ed.) degree.

Marks

Marks at least 50% marks for general candidates and 47.5% marks for SC/ST/PH candidates.

Duration

The duration of M.Ed. course is 2 years throughout India as per notification by the NCTE.

 Duration

 Eligibility

 The minimum qualification required for M.Ed is a Bachelor degree in Education(B.Ed.) degree.

The candidate needs to have passed the B.Ed. exam from a recognized institute. The interested candidates who wants to pursue M.Ed course from a top Government University should have minimum 50% marks in B.Ed degree to apply.

The candidates who have completed their B.El.Ed degree from a Govt University with 55% marks can also apply for M.Ed course.

 Time of exams

First semester of M.Ed. exam usually takes place in the month of April and Second semester by September and the admit cards can be downloaded a few weeks before the exams. The results are declared in the month of September every academic year.

Documents Required for M.Ed 

    The following documents are required to apply for the admission in M.Ed. course. Please make sure you check the eligibility criteria for admission first.
  • 10th class Certificate and Mark sheet
  •  12th class Certificate and Mark sheet
  •  Graduation Final year consolidated Mark sheet
  •  Provisional Certificate or Graduation Degree
  •  Final year Mark sheet of B.Ed. Degree
  •  Masters’ Final year consolidated Mark sheet (if applicable)
  •  Provisional Certificate or Master Degree (if applicable)
  •   Migration Certificate (need to submit the original by the end of Nov)
    •   Aadhaar Card
        •   6 colour photographs of the candidate.
